A Ministry Team is…
…a small group of individuals committed to Jesus Christ, to each other, and to achieving common ministry objectives and goals either in a strategic area of the church’s purpose or in support of those strategic areas.
We have many Ministry Teams which provide opportunities to get involved at Hope Church.
Below is a list of the teams in which you can be a part of here at Hope:
The jobs of the Enfolding Ministry team are to: follow-up with new visitors, Create a plan to enfold visitors and new attendees into the fellowship of the church, and organize community groups.
The jobs of the Equipping Ministry team are to: Organize Sunday school for spiritual maturity of the congregation, organize conferences and seminars, and provide childcare.
The jobs of the Mercy Ministry Team are to: coordinate the prayer chain, provide meals for people in need, organize time and talent services, and help with visitation of the sick or elderly.
The jobs of the Missions Ministry Team are to: Spread the gospel beyond our community by supporting missionaries, and introduce the congregation to our various PCA Missions Causes.
The jobs of the Outreach Ministry Team are to: accomplish the Great Commission within our community, determine needs within our community and organize outreach events, coordinate the GED ministry.
The jobs of the Finance Ministry Team are to: show stewardship of the church’s financial resources, construct annual budgets, monitor cash flow and expenditures, and perform annual audits.
The jobs of the Property Ministry Team are to: provide care and maintenance of all the church’s properties, perform lawn care and cleaning, organize setup/tear down for church activities.
The Men’s and Women’s Ministry teams have similar jobs for ministering to both the men and women in the church. Their jobs are: support the men’s and women’s individual activities, encourage personal relationships with Christ, and help attenders be committed to extending the kingdom of God in their life, home, church, community and around the world.
The jobs of the Worship Ministry Team are to: promote Christ centered worship, lead congregational singing, and teach new songs and hymns to the congregation.
